Monica teaches dynamic vinyasa yoga style. Every class has a theme such as heart opening, hip opening or twist. She strongly believes that every asana has a profound connection not only with the body but also with the mind and the spirit. Each class starts with a gentle warm up and sun salutation getting the body ready for the main asanas that are the heart of the practice. The importance of breathing and the awareness that breath brings to each and every asana is emphasised. Monica describes her classes as a small journey inside the body, that happens with the first deep breath and ends with a relaxind and calming Savasana. She often ends her classes with an Indian mantra or a Japanese one that comes from her Japanese Buddhism practice.
