Rocket Yoga Exploration

Join Lisa-Marie Wakenshaw for a fun, dynamic workshop; working through the Rocket III sequence, building heat and strength, before exploring step-by-step some fun arm balances and inversions, and ending with a delicious relaxation in Savasana.

Developed by Larry Schultz in San Francisco, The Rocket is known for being fun, fast, and encouraging students to lift up and fly. This workshop will give students the ‘flow’ element which is at the heart of the practice, but it will also slow down the pace so students can understand the many optional transitions and modifications of the sequence. To close, a well-deserved and long guided relaxation and meditation.

The Rocket encourages the practitioner to let go of fear and embrace the fact that you are stronger than you think you are. This workshop will leave you feeling energised and empowered with knowledge of how to safely modify postures and take ownership of your practice.
