ASHTANGA – STRENGTH AND LIGHTNESS WITH NADIA ABDULWAHAB

Nadia worked as a professional dancer for 10 years in Budapest and graduated from the University of Veszprem with a degree in Theatre Studies. She was introduced to yoga through her dancing practice and felt instantly attracted towards the discipline. After trying many yoga styles, seeking out different teachers, completing a number of teacher training courses, in 2009 she fully committed herself to Ashtanga Yoga. Her teachers are Andrea Lutz (the founder of Ashtanga Studio Berlin) and Manju Jois (the son of Sri K Pattabhi Jois). She has been given much experience, inspiration and love for yoga from both of them and loves to share her experience with others keen on yoga. Nadia is a lively person, always smiling and giving everybody a huge amount of amazing energy but also very humble and modest. She specializes in Mysore style at her ASHTANGA YOGA LAB studio in Budapest.

The ashtanga yoga method is based on the breathing. During this workshop, we are going to experience the power of the breath in each asana and in the whole practice. We also focus on the bandhas and the centre of the body, trying to find ease even in the most difficult postures. The workshop is open and suitable for all levels.
